Neskowin Ghost Forest. It is a mystery that we will never know for sure, but scientists believe the trees buried in the sand are likely more than 2,000 years old. Believe it or not, they are not petrified, but have managed to survive due to being buried in the sand, preserved by salt water, and covered in mussels and barnacles.
